The stay

Loisaba Star Beds offers a kopje retreat where wheeled four-poster beds roll onto open decks. Three double rooms and one family arrangement overlook a valley and waterhole. Ensuite facilities retain a rustic feel.

Elewana Loisaba Star Beds turns the sleeping arrangement into the defining part of a safari stay. Set on a rocky kopje in Loisaba Conservancy, its handcrafted four-poster beds can be rolled from thatched shelter onto raised timber platforms for a night beneath the sky. The experience depends on weather and the operator’s arrangements, so outdoor sleeping should not be promised without qualification.

Three Double Rooms have sitting areas, storage and private bathrooms. The Family Room uses two double beds on separate platforms, with a bathroom reached by a short covered walkway. All rooms can accept an additional single bed, but that extra bed cannot roll outside. Open-air bathroom design, hot solar-heated showers, flush toilets and the natural rock setting give the property a deliberately different character from an enclosed hotel room.

Shared dining and a lounge with a log fire provide the social centre. Accommodation currency and charging period remain unstated.
