Rock-integrated cottages overlook Meru National Park from Mughwango Hill. Elsa’s Kopje offers individual suites, a Family Cottage and a Private House with its own pool.
Elsa’s Kopje is built around the rocks of Mughwango Hill inside Meru National Park. Its individual cottages open towards the surrounding plains, giving the architecture and outlook as much importance as the wildlife itinerary. The lodge’s name and location also connect it with the area’s Born Free history.
The current accommodation mix includes six Cottage Suites, three Honeymoon Suites, a two-bedroom Family Cottage and a separate Private House. Each layout is different: one cottage substitutes an indoor sitting room for a deck, while one honeymoon suite rises over three levels. The Private House has its own garden and infinity pool, making it a distinct choice for guests seeking more private shared space.
Nobu would consider Elsa’s for couples who value characterful rooms and for families prepared to choose a layout carefully. Open fronts, steps and the position on a hillside deserve attention when matching the property to children or mobility needs. Full Board includes selected drinks and laundry, while the Game Package adds specified shared safaris and airstrip transfers.
