Sixteen safari tents, a swimming pool and elevated views define Elephant Rock Tarangire. The Mada Hotels camp offers a connected family arrangement and shared dining and lounge spaces.
Elephant Rock Tarangire is marketed by Mada Hotels as a raised tented camp on Boundary Hill within the national park. Broad views, private verandas and a swimming pool give it an appealing balance between time on safari and time at camp. The Boundary Hill location should not be confused with the former lodge of that name, which is now Mwamba in a neighbouring wildlife-management area.
Sixteen safari tents are advertised, with four-poster beds and spacious bathrooms. The main dining area and lounge bar provide shared spaces, with WiFi available in common areas.
Nobu would consider Elephant Rock for travellers who like the atmosphere of a tent but want a pool and established lodge facilities between outings. Full board is advertised, while the inclusion of drinks, game drives, transfers and bush dining needs to be made explicit in the offer.
