Elephant Plains Lodge occupies an escarpment position in the northern Queen Elizabeth area, with broad views over the surrounding landscape and lakes. The operator describes six cottages and two family cottages, spaced for privacy, with verandas and large ensuite bathrooms. The pool, terrace restaurant and lounge make the lodge a place to spend time as well as a base for excursions.
Kasenyi game drives, the Kazinga Channel and the crater-lake landscape can be built into a stay, with routes and timing arranged around the day’s plan.
