Dongwe Club is an Italian-oriented resort on Zanzibar’s east coast, with gardens leading to the beach and a long jetty extending over the water. Its 120 rooms and broad activity programme make it a different kind of stay from a small private-villa retreat: there is a shared resort rhythm, with sport, daytime entertainment and evening performances among the choices.
Four principal accommodation categories are advertised: Standard, Superior, De Luxe and Suite. Double and twin arrangements are available in selected categories, and Superior rooms include some ground-floor connecting options for families. The suites have a separate living room as well as the main bedroom.
Dining combines Italian and international cooking, while the seawater pool, tennis courts and beachfront give guests several ways to spend the day.
