Deloraine House is a hosted country-house stay near Rongai, northwest of Nakuru, with gardens, horses and a working-farm setting beneath Londiani Mountain. It offers a slower rhythm than moving between safari camps, while Lake Nakuru National Park remains within reach for a separately arranged day excursion.
Five bedrooms sit in the main house, with another three in the adjacent Garden Cottage. The house’s shared rooms, fireplaces and veranda encourage time together, while the pool, tennis court and croquet lawn provide alternatives to riding.
Nobu would consider Deloraine for families and friends who want a hosted base with an equestrian focus. Riding and friendly polo can be tailored to ability, alongside farm and forest walks; a fixed house stay should not be confused with a mobile riding safari.
