The stay
Six spacious tented suites overlook the Musabi Plains in central-western Serengeti. Solar power, private verandas and flexible bedding support a small, year-round camp experience for guests aged five and older.
Cherero Camp sits on the Musabi Plains, west of the central Serengeti’s busier safari hub. Its six tented suites give the stay a small scale, with private verandas looking towards the grasslands and a design that encourages time in camp as well as time on a game drive. The camp is open throughout the year, with Seronera airstrip around ninety minutes away by road.
Solar power supports electricity and hot water, and ceiling fans, screened windows and verandas provide a naturally ventilated setting. There is no swimming pool or bathtub.
Meals and specified drinks form part of the full-board arrangement. A game package adds guiding and airstrip transfers, with its own conditions. Children are welcomed from five years old.
