Che Shale is a nine-banda beach lodge on the coast north of Malindi, with rooms ranging from doubles to family bandas. Seafood dining and activities shape the stay.
Che Shale is a small beach lodge on the Kenyan coast north of Malindi.
Six accommodation labels cover the nine units. Two Deluxe Bandas and two Kajama Bandas suit parties of two. Tewa is a loft-style double with the bedroom upstairs and bathroom below. Suli Suli and Fulusi each have a double and single bed, with space for a cot; their “three to four” label should not be interpreted as four adult beds. Songoro accommodates five across upstairs and downstairs sleeping areas, while the three-bedroom Kole Kole Banda accommodates six and has two bathrooms.
Seafood is central to the restaurant, with half- and full-board arrangements discussed by the operator.
