THE NOBU VIEW
The stay
A southern-Bwindi base offering dorms, shared-bathroom rooms, ensuite rooms, cottages and camping. Bwindi Backpackers suits independent travellers who want to choose their comfort level.
Bwindi Backpackers Lodge offers several ways to stay near the southern side of the forest, from an own-tent pitch or dorm bed to rooms and cottages. That distinction matters on an early trekking morning.
The accommodation range includes four shared-bathroom rooms and four self-contained rooms, with a separate cottage offering that includes a three-bedroom label. Rooms are presented with breakfast, and a restaurant and bar support guests who would rather take meals on site. Parking includes space for overland vehicles, and transfers can be arranged.
Nobu would consider the lodge for independent travellers and small groups who want flexibility in comfort level and are comfortable planning transport carefully. Forest outlooks and locally arranged activities add interest beyond the main trek, but wildlife visits are never something to promise.
