The stay
A Turmi lodge with twenty-five advertised rooms, gardens, dining and separate roofed camping areas.
Buska Lodge is a garden-based property at Turmi in Ethiopia’s Lower Omo Valley. The operator’s current presentation describes twenty-five rooms and separate camping facilities, with thatched accommodation and outdoor spaces around the compound.
All are described with mosquito nets and private indoor bathrooms; the twin rooms have separately built sunrise terraces. Ten roofed camping islands and a larger camping area offer another format, using communal showers, toilets and cooking facilities rather than the rooms’ private bathrooms.
Two restaurants serve Ethiopian and European dishes, with a bar, coffee service and massage treatments also advertised.
