The stay

Borana Lodge offers stone-and-timber cottages with fireplaces and verandas within Borana Conservancy. Four stand-alone cottages and two family combinations provide different layouts, including a private-pool option. Hospitality, riding and conservation activities shape the stay.

Borana Lodge is a cottage-based safari retreat within Borana Conservancy in Laikipia. Stone, cedar and thatch give the accommodation a warm, established character, with fireplaces and verandas designed for time between outings. The operator presents four stand-alone cottages and two family combinations, making room and whole-cottage scope important when selecting accommodation.

Cottage One has a double bed and its own outlook, while Cottage Two can be arranged as a twin or double. Family Cottage Five and Six combines twin and double bedrooms with a smaller children’s room below; the double and children’s room share a bathroom. Family Cottage Seven and Eight has twin and double rooms, a shared sitting and dining area, and a private plunge pool.

Ability, age, weather and availability govern participation. Minimum stays vary by season.
