The stay
Two small camps below the Oloololo Escarpment combine spacious tents, butler service and swimming pools. Bateleur’s family arrangement links two tents, while standard tents offer baths and outdoor showers.
Bateleur Camp is arranged as two small camps beneath the Oloololo Escarpment, on a private concession bordering the Maasai Mara reserve. Its character is polished but still firmly safari-led: tented accommodation, a pool for each camp and shared spaces that look towards the plains.
The larger family arrangement links two nearby tents and is designed for two adults and two children, with a third child possible only by request. Fans provide cooling; air conditioning is not listed.
The public package includes meals, selected drinks, laundry, airstrip transfers and two safari activities each day. Nobu would consider Bateleur for couples and families who value attentive service and substantial tented rooms. Children can stay, but their participation in ordinary drives and walks depends on age and management approval.
