Basecamp Maasai Mara offers seventeen river-view tents beside the Talek River, with family options and documented accessible tents. This is the Talek property, not Mara North.
Basecamp Maasai Mara occupies a wooded peninsula beside the Talek River, with the national reserve across the water. The setting combines a safari base with a close connection to the neighbouring community, including the Enjoolata education centre and the camp’s garden and craft projects. It is distinct from Saruni Mara in Mara North and from Basecamp’s Naboisho properties.
Rooms have private decks, solar-heated showers and in-tent Wi-Fi. Selected tents and communal areas have documented accessibility provisions.
Meals are served in the garden and communal dining spaces, with private platform dining available by arrangement.
