The stay
An adult-only mobile camping experience within Naboisho Conservancy, using simple twin tents, bucket showers and outdoor toilets. Basecamp Dorobo suits adults seeking a pared-back safari close to the landscape.
Basecamp Dorobo Mobile is an adult-only camping experience that moves within Mara Naboisho Conservancy. Its appeal lies in travelling lightly and spending time close to the landscape, with a temporary camp rather than a fixed lodge as the base.
Five mobile twin tents provide soft mattresses, bucket showers and outdoor toilet arrangements. This is a deliberately simple style of accommodation: guests should expect practical camping facilities and agree any comfort or mobility requirements before choosing it.
Shared meals and a campfire create the centre of the evening, while the operator advertises guided walking and safari experiences in the conservancy. We would consider Dorobo for adults who actively want a more pared-back camping stay and are comfortable with changing locations.
