The stay
Ten ensuite tents inside Tarangire offer regular, triple and family arrangements among the baobabs. Baobab Tented Camp includes full-board meals, with drinks and activities extra.
Baobab Tented Camp is a small Mawe Lodges property inside Tarangire National Park, on the wildlife corridor towards Lake Burunge. Staying within the boundary changes the rhythm of a visit: mornings can begin from camp, and the return after a drive ends among the baobabs rather than at a town hotel. Wildlife may move through the unfenced grounds, so staff guidance is part of the stay.
Ten tents are divided into regular, triple and family arrangements. Ensuite hot showers, flush toilets, charging points and mosquito nets provide the essentials. WiFi is concentrated in the main areas, where the mess tent and bar form the social centre.
Nobu would consider Baobab for families and small groups who value an inside-park setting over resort facilities. Full board includes meals, with bar drinks and organised activities charged separately. Walks and night drives have their own minimum age.
