The stay
An eight-tent camp now advertised at Nyati Special Campsite on Ngorongoro’s southeastern rim. Ang’ata offers ensuite tents, a two-tent family arrangement, shared dining and a weather-dependent campfire.
Ang’ata Ngorongoro Camp is a small tented stay on the southeastern side of the crater rim. The operator now gives Nyati Special Campsite as its location, following a move from Acacia Special Campsite.
Eight guest tents are advertised, including a family arrangement formed from two tents. Guests can request king, twin or triple bedding, with ensuite showers, basins and flush toilets. The shared lounge and dining tent provide the centre of camp life, and a fire is lit when weather allows. Solar lighting and a communal charging station reflect the practical character of a small canvas property.
Nobu would consider Ang’ata for travellers who want a compact camp and are comfortable with straightforward safari facilities. Meals are prepared in camp, with tea and coffee offered in the lounge.
