Your Africa, beautifully told. Tailor-made East African journeys

How your quotation works

Clear assumptions.
A considered cost.

A tailored journey needs more context than a single number. Your dates, party, route and accommodation all belong in the conversation.

01

A preference

Your budget

What you hope to spend and whether that amount is per person or for everyone. It helps shape the discussion; it is not a Nobu price.

02

A planning range

An indicative estimate

A guide price, such as a “from” price on our website. It is based on current rates and the assumptions we state, and it can change until we quote.

03

Specified arrangements

A personal quotation

A dated proposal for named services, showing the price, inclusions, exclusions, validity and terms to review.

The things that change the cost

Same destination.
Different journey.

Open each factor to see the questions a quotation needs to answer.

Your travel dates

Rates, operating periods and availability may differ. An estimate must match the stated dates or season.

Who is travelling

Adults, children, room occupancy and sharing arrangements change the services needed.

Where and how you stay

Compare named properties, room types, meal plans and the location of each base.

The connections

Road transfers, domestic flights, private vehicles and driving arrangements need to be specified.

The experiences

Guiding, activities, relevant access fees, permits and optional extras should be itemised or clearly described.

Currency and scope

Check the currency of your quote and what it leaves out.

Start with the brief, not a guessed price.

Tell us your dates, who is travelling and the kind of stays you like. We turn that into a written quote based on current rates and availability.

A few things worth knowing

Good questions.
Straight answers.

The details matter. Bring anything else into your planning conversation.

Is my budget the same as an estimate?

No. Your budget tells us what you hope to spend. An indicative “from” price is a guide. Your quote is our price for specific arrangements, prepared after we check current rates and availability.

Why do some journeys have no price?

The cost depends on your dates, the size of your party and the stays you choose. Where we show a price, it is an indicative “from” price. Your actual price comes in a written quote, once we have checked current rates and availability.

When is a trip confirmed?

Not when you save a journey or send an enquiry. A booking starts only after you accept our written quote, and we confirm the arrangements to you in writing.
