Accessibility
What we mean by it
Africa shouldn't belong only to the fastest, the youngest or the most able-bodied. The plains breathe the same for everyone; the welcome is the same; the story is the same. What changes is how a journey is built to meet you. So we don't run a separate "accessible tour" off to one side. We start from the same place we always do — the kind of traveller you are — and design outward, taking your needs as part of the brief rather than an exception to it. For some that means step-free routes and the right vehicle. For others it's pace, dietary needs, medical considerations, or travelling well with young children or elderly parents. The principle holds in every case: more people, living the story, on their own terms.

Who we design for
- Mobility — wheelchair users and travellers with limited mobility: step-free routes where possible, suitable vehicles and accommodation, and a pace that fits. [client to confirm — accessible vehicle specs, transfer capability.]
- Sensory — travellers who are blind or have low vision, or who are Deaf or hard of hearing: journeys shaped around how you experience a place, with guiding adjusted to suit.
- Dietary & medical — allergies, conditions, medication, dialysis or mobility aids that need planning: handled quietly and thoroughly before you travel. [client to confirm — medical/logistics capability.]
- Age & family — travelling with young children, or with older parents who can't move as they once did: pace, comfort and routes designed so everyone is in the story together.
- Neurodivergent travellers — predictable rhythms, quieter routes and clear briefings where they help.

Common questions
- Can you arrange a wheelchair-accessible safari?
- Yes — we design journeys for wheelchair users and travellers with limited mobility, with step-free routes where possible, suitable vehicles and accommodation, and a pace that fits. We'll be honest about what each location can and can't do. **[client to confirm — vehicle and transfer capability.]**
- Is accessibility a separate, more expensive tour?
- No. We design accessibility into our standard journeys rather than running a separate product, across our full range from Essential Stay to Private Collection.
- I travel with a medical condition / specific diet — can you help?
- Yes. Dietary, medical and medication needs are planned thoroughly before you travel. Tell us early and we'll build around them. **[client to confirm — medical logistics capability.]**
- We're travelling with young children and an elderly parent — is that possible?
- Yes. We design multi-generational journeys with a pace, comfort and route that keep everyone in the story together.
- What if part of a journey isn't accessible?
- We'll tell you honestly, design around it, and find the version or alternative that works — never sending you somewhere we couldn't make work for you.
- How do I start?
- Begin with a conversation. Tell us what you need and what you hope for, and we'll design the journey from there.
